For the past 10 years Simon has worked directly with job seekers as a coach, a mentor, a public speaker and as an author. He is regarded by many as one of the world’s leading job hunting experts.

But that’s not surprising when you understand his family, his career and his passion.

Simon was literally born to advice and guide job hunters through the challenges of today’s complex job markets - Simon’s Mum and Dad, Brother and Sister were all recruiters and Simon took his first job in recruitment at the age of 16, before he went off to University.

However, as soon as his studies were over he soon returned to his roots, as Founder of the innovative high street agency brand, The Job Shop, working closely with tens of thousands of ‘High St’ Candidates

Simon worked closely with job hunters on the supply side of the recruitment industry as a Consultant for 20 years. During that time he guided 1000s of outstanding candidates through tough recruitment processes with demanding, household name clients.

In the late ‘90s he jumped the fence and began his ‘demand side’ career, establishing some of the most effective internal recruiting departments for well known global brands. Simon has been credited with transforming a leading Financial Services organisation’s recruitment activity and building the people supply chain.

Simon has spent the last few years developing the revolutionary job hunting concept I Got Hired™ and has been retained as a career and outplacement coach by some of the UK’s leading employers.
